Beliefs

ABOUT GOD

We believe in one God, the creator of all things. We believe He exists eternally in three Persons–Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, equally deserving our worship and obedience.

ABOUT JESUS CHRIST

We believe that Jesus is the Son of God. We believe that the virgin-born Son of God died for our sins, was buried, rose from the dead, and is coming again. We believe He is both fully God and fully man.

ABOUT THE HOLY SPIRIT

We believe that those who put their faith in Jesus Christ will receive the immediate indwelling presence of the Holy Spirit. We believe the Holy Spirit gives each beleiver spiritual gifts as it pleases His will. We believe that the Holy Spirit is one with God the Father and God the Son.

ABOUT THE BIBLE

We beleive the Bible is the word of God. We believe God used human authors who who were directed by the Spirit of God to write the holy scriptures. We believe it is the final authority on life, faith, and truth.

ABOUT MAN

We believe that human beings were made by God and made in His image. We believe in the beginning, man had a good relationship with God but that the relationship was broken with man’s willful disobedience, called sin. We believe that all people are enslaved to sin and cannot break free of sin nor restore a relationship with God through their own efforts.

ABOUT SALVATION

We believe that salvation is by the grace of God and not by the works of man. We believe salvation is God’s free gift to mankind and accepted upon an individual’s faith in Jesus. We believe that the death of Jesus on the cross and His resurrection provides a way for people to be forgiven of their sins, and have eternal life.

ABOUT THE CHURCH

We believe the Church is made up of people who have placed their faith in and are following Jesus Christ. We believe that followers of Christ should live out their faith in a local church community. We believe that each local church is part of the greater world wide Church.
